Die Zukunft von CSS

Der The Style Master Blog demonstriert was irgendwann ausschließlich mit HTML und CSS möglich sein wird in dem Apple’s Navigationsleiste mit mit CSS nachgebaut wird.

In this article we are going to make the toolbar below, using nothing but HTML and CSS. If it doesn’t look overly impressive, then you aren’t using Safari 4. I’ve not written this to show you something you can use in every browser today (though as we shall see it degrades gracefully in browsers that don’t support various CSS3 features), but to show what will soon be possible, and coming down the pipelines of CSS in real live browsers.

jQuery Plugins

zwei nette jQuery Plugins habe ich gerade auf ajaxline gefunden:

canvasswap

A jQuery plugin to induce an image swap on hover. Although this plugin does it’s job of swapping out images extremely well , that’s not what it’s main intention is. What canvasSwap sets out to do is not only provide a great image swap utility, but it also allows swapping transparent PNG images in IE 6! (with the help of a PNG transparency script)

Und MagicalHover was einen sehr coolen rollover Effekt realisiert.

Elastic CSS Framework

Und mal wieder was zum Testen: Elastic CSS Framework.

Elastic CSS Framework defines a declarative language to make layouts, for example: two-columns, fixed-column, column. Other frameworks use more cryptic names like col1of3 or e30

Most frameworks are based on a grid system(Blueprint, 960gs, Tripoli). Elastic CSS Framework is a freestyle framework you can mix and nest any number of columns, you can even mix any number of columns, fixed-columns, and elastic-columns

Elastic CSS Framework provides a set of helper classes, to accomplish hard things by pure CSS like: same-height, full-width, and vertical-center

Elastic CSS Framework is designed so you can mix classes to accomplish complex layouts, recent frameworks are doing this too (OOCSS)

Lässt sich eine Festivalisierungsdynamik städtischer Politiken auch für Sicherheitspolitiken nachweisen? Wenn ja, in welchem Maße tragen Großevents zu einer Beschleunigung und Ausweitung von Sicherheitspolitiken und -maßnahmen in Städten bei und mit welchen Nutzenfunktionen werden diese legitimiert? Lassen sich sozialräumliche Manifestationen dieser Sicherheitspolitiken erkennen?
