Das Virtuelle Datenschutzbüro berichtet über erweiterte Personenkontrollen an US-Flughäfen. Soweit - leider - nichts verwunderliches. Krass sind aber folgende Zahlen:

Da (…) bis jetzt nur der Name als Kriterium verwendet wurde, gab es viele “Falsch Positive”, also Fällen, bei denen aufgrund von Namensgleichheit Personen für erweiterte Kontrollen ausgesondert wurden. Das DHS spricht von 9.000 Fällen pro Tag bei einer großen, namentlich nicht genannten, Fluglinie.

Das I2P Projekt hat wieder eine Webseite und ich kann endlich einen zweiten Anlauf unternehmen die Software zu testen.

Die Gallery Funktion in WordPress 2.5 hat ja einige Probleme:

• The gallery shortcode outputs invalid XHTML.
• It injects style rules in the middle of the page.
• Even when you specify to use the thumbnail, it only resizes your image, which causes some problems with page load times.

Diesen Mißstand hat Justin Tadlock zum Anlass genommen und das Cleaner WordPress Gallery Plugin geschrieben.
