Heute gab es wieder eine Menge jQuery Plugins im FeddReader.

jQuery plugin: Accordion

This plugin creates an accordion menu. It works with nested lists, definition lists, or just nested divs. Options are available to specify the structure, if necessary, the active element (to display at first) and to customize animations. The navigation-option automatically activates a part of the accordion based on the current location (URL) of the page.

jQuery.SerialScroll

This plugin allows you to easily animate any series of elements, by sequentially scrolling them. It uses jQuery.ScrollTo to achieve the scrolling animation.

It can be used as a slider of sections, to sequentially navigate them. You can also animate slideshows that can be highly customized. With little code, you can even build a news ticker.

Include JavaScript

Include von JavaScriptMVC klingt sehr nützlich.

Include makes it simple to include and compress JavaScript files no matter how complex the dependencies. Focus on organization with logically separated JavaScript files.

Instead of including files relative to the current page’s url, Include includes files relative to your JavaScript files’ urls. Forget about scanning the page’s script tags for your library’s path. Include lets you organize your scripts however you want.

Include uses Dean Edwards’ packer to automatically compress your JavaScripts. Never write another server-side compression script. Switch on compress mode and your entire application compresses.

Von der Universität Bern gibt es einen Kurzfilm zu Barrierefreiheit.

Das Video zeigt die Benutzung von Computer und Internet durch einen sehbehinderten und einen blinden User und streift einige technische und semantische Aspekte von Accessibility*.

Das Video ist kein Kurs zu Accessibility und deckt das Gebiet nicht vollständig ab, aber es macht das Thema Barrierefreiheit erlebbar und kann Webentwickler und Entscheidungsträger motivieren, einen Zusasatzeffort hinsichtlich der Accessibility ihrer Webprojekte zu leisten

WordPress als CMS

Auch wenn es anscheinend nicht mehr so richtig weiter entwickelt wird, Custom Write Panel hört sich nach einer sinnvollen Ergänzung in der WP Skript-Sammlung an.

Custom Write Panel provides the functionality to create individual write panels similar to “Write Post” panel only with customized input fields. This plugin allows adding new input fields with a specific type.
