SemSol is a forthcoming Web development framework that uses Semantic Web technology to significantly increase productivity and flexibility for everyday Web programming.
- Built on top of ARC, a fast pure-PHP SPARQL system
- Supports PHP4 and PHP5
- Runs with MySQL 4
- Open-Source core platform with various controllers included (blog, semantic wiki-like publisher, usage statistics, access control, …)
- Extensible wiki markup for formatting, semantic publishing, and sparqlets (SPARQL-driven widgets)
- Produces semantic Web markup (microformats and eRDF)
- Completely driven by RDF and SPARQL, but as easy to use as any other Web CMS
- Forms builder with automatic RDF generation
- Built-in support for remote scripting (AJAX)
- Per-controller themes
