True Crypt ist ein Open Source Programm für verschlüsselte Festplatten unter Windows XP/2000/2003.

AES-256, Blowfish (448-bit key), CAST5, Serpent (256-bit key), Triple DES, und Twofish (256-bit key) werden als Algorithmen unterstützt.

Ein Artikel auf wired.com macht deutlich für welche Zwecke Daten, die ursprünglich für Direkt Marketing zusammen geklaubt wurden, noch Verwendung finden können.
